Critics

L’etimo della parola ‘segno’ rimanda all’universo della conoscenza: io lascio una traccia per dare notizie, per lasciare un’indicazione – di me, della mia identità e del contesto in cui mi trovo.

Con un fare consapevole (o, al contrario, del tutto inconscio) l’uomo, appena ne ha avuto la possibilità, millenni addietro, ha lasciato dietro di sé un qualcosa che permettesse il riconoscimento, la presa di coscienza, del suo passaggio.
La storia dell’arte, in un secondo momento, si è appropriata di questo vocabolo per indicare una peculiare espressività, riferita generalmente all’ambito dell’informale (informale segnico), sviluppatosi a partire dal periodo postbellico, quando l’artista fa emergere la sua sensibilità trattando il supporto come fosse una tabula rasa, un foglio al grado zero tutto da riempire.
Dunque, è solamente dall’unione di questi due significati che possiamo iniziare a comprendere il carattere distintivo della produzione di un giovane artista come Luca Zampetti. Il suo segno, infatti, lontano dall’essere percezione sintattica del reale, diviene linea continua, marcata, sinuosa e a tratti caricaturale.
La traccia che Zampetti lascia sul supporto è vivida figuratività, le sue opere si fanno testimonianza del mondo, sin dagli esordi, quando i bordi scandiscono nitidamente un interno vuotow.
La stessa sensazione, di avere di fronte un segno tracciato da chi ‘mastica la città’, la assapora e poi, quando perde di gusto, la sputa e getta via come un chewing gum usurato, trapela anche dagli scenari urbani, morbidamente tracciati con un disegno in bianco e nero, che lascia spazio a un solo colore, l’urlo che spezza il silenzio, mentre le macchine corrono e le persone camminano indifferenti.
È l’occhio di chi conosce bene e vive sino in fondo gli spazi metropolitani, reali anche quando non lo sono e, ad esempio, portano in primo piano la gigantografia di una donna, sguardo ammiccante verso l’osservatore e atteggiamento provocatorio, mentre si trova, inginocchiata a terra, con le mani che sfiorano sensualmente un vaso bianco e blu della Fabbri.
La proposizione dell’oggi, però, non è uno stanco ripetersi di scene già vissute e vicende a suo tempo affrontate: l’artista – che assume anche una parte da regista, come ci suggerisce il titolo della serie “Cinema story” – propone sempre il suo punto vista. Lo vediamo dal volto di un Robert De Niro che beve un caffè, ripreso a mezzo busto, con tazzina e cucchiaino in mano, così come nella composizione di un regista, profilo allo spettatore, che guarda nell’obiettivo.
Un gioco di sensi che continua: possiamo percepire lo stesso sguardo assorto, attraverso una lente di vetro, proprio su di noi e siamo in grado di sentire, attraverso la vivificazione complessiva di brani reali (non sempre quotidiani), i rumori assordanti del traffico, dei clacson e delle persone.
